2010-03-02 Dissapointment (1 of 5)
Shipment was terrible, I made my firs complaint and the vendor didn't even bother to see the shipment paperwork only asked to double check with the Mail officce. After 2 visits to the post officce and 1 hour lost finally i got to find out the problem my self. No name for the shipment and two diferents address on it. finally the vendor look at my paperwork and inmmediatly requested a refun. took 1 month. I still need to shop again for my book. They say my order was wrong form Amazon. I order 2 books with the same order and same instructions. Received my first book in 4 days. I will never buy a book from them.

2010-02-07 the best (5 of 5)
This book is the one of the best toefl books for me.. Other best one is Thompson Toefl book... Thompson's writing section is better than Cambridge. Cambridge reading section is exactly same as real toefl and readings are nice.. I just recommend this two toefl books.. Longman, Barron, and Kaplan can be 3rd and 4th...

2010-02-06 Very good preparation (5 of 5)
I have very positive feelings about this book.
I was required to take the TOEFL test by the time of January 2010 by the college I applied to. I have been studying English for about 10 years and during the last two I am using it as a primary language in school.
Knowing only very roughly what the TOEFL looks like I began my preparation about a week before the exam. Sounds like very little time, but ultimately I scored 105 points (120 is maximum in the iBT). I'm proud of my score and it more than enough for my college appliaction. This Cambridge book was a large help here. It talks about each section and each question type in great detail, but you still can feel why each of these details matter and why knowing them can help you.
I strongly suggest buying the version of the book with CD-ROM and 8 audio CDs (the one which costs $89). The audio CDs contain quite big amount of listening and speaking exercises.
One more thing: in my view, the most difficult part of the TOEFL iBT is speaking. Prepare well for it by recording yourself and paying attention to time. Attached CD-ROM with a program that simulates the test is very helpful here. Not only here, actually - it makes you feel comfortable with the test interface, which is important.

2009-07-20 It's ok. (3 of 5)
The book is in a good conditon with a few pages written. Anyway, I'm disappointed with the CD-ROM; some chapters are stuck and often needed to restart.
