2010-08-13 it doesn't suit it's expectations (1 of 5)
THIS STUDY GUIDE IS BOGUS!!!
IT DOESNT HELP YOU "STUDY" , INSTEAD, IT TESTS YOUR KNOWLEDGE AND GIVES NO ANSWER EXPLANATIONS.
SETTLE FOR ANOTHER BRAND, BECAUSE THIS ONE IS TOO PRAGMATIC.

2010-07-07 Better off buying review books for each Subject Test (3 of 5)
This "Official Study Guide" isn't exactly true to its name. It's really just a compilation of previously administered SAT Subject Tests (one for each subject, which makes it less useful). I don't know anyone that took every single Subject Test available from CollegeBoard, so this is not really as useful as I had hoped. I still give it 3 stars (an "OK" rating), because it does give me an accurate understanding of what to expect, in terms of difficulty. I would much rather just purchase an individual review book for each exam that you're taking, as it will probably provide explanations, strategies, and review of key concepts (something this book definitely doesn't do). If you're taking a BUNCH (5 or more) exams, this might be useful for the practice tests, but that's about it. Please save your money and invest in a review book for the designated subject(s) that you are preparing for.

2010-05-23 Just 1 sample test per subject (2 of 5)
The book gives a few tips that may not be easily found elsewhere, but mainly repeats info you've seen/heard if you've been checking into these tests. Then there's one sample test per subject, along with the answer grid; that's what makes it such a long book. As long as you know that's what you're getting...

2010-01-23 A must get book. (5 of 5)
Since this is the only book that has real SAT subject tests, you must get this book if you want to take the SAT subject tests. The other book simply do not have questions like the real thing.
