2010-06-29 You MUST have this item. (5 of 5)
If you are studying for the GMAT, you have no choice. You MUST have this item. Taking such a high stress test means that if you can eliminate any variables, then you will be in a better position. Having this sheet and taking some practice exams with it will better prepare you for the real thing. FYI -- the Pen died on me after I used it a lot. So, if you are studying and practicing a lot -- you will need more than one pen.

2010-06-23 Just like the exam (5 of 5)
This notepad is just like the exam. Great for practicing with a non-permanent marker.

2010-05-11 You should get the booklet & marker (5 of 5)
This booklet is not a must have - people have scored 700+ without it, BUT, consider these arguments:
1. This booklet and pen are exact replicas of what is used at the test center, and the more you can be comfortable with that environment, the better. (This set comes with one pen, but you will actually get 2 at your test center)
2. You are probably not used to writing notes and solving questions on a spiral-bound dry-erase board with a dry-erase marker pen. Having used this pen and board for a test can help you avoid some discomforts and set expectations properly
3. The size of this board (see customer images for comparison) is huge - much larger than expected (larger than OG 12) - it will take a good portion of your desk space, so again, something else good to know

!!!IMPORTANT!!!
Regardless of whether you buy this set of not, remember 2 things:
1. Test the pens at the test center - many report that they get dry pens that do not write, and then end up exchanging them mid-test while the clock is ticking
2. Close the cap of the pen if you don't plan to write for a little while

Let me know if any questions - I reply to comments!

2010-04-27 Stimulation Booklet & Missing Marker (4 of 5)
I received the Test Stimulation Booklet with out the Marker.Though i paid for both.
The customer service guy responded by offering a refund of $3 for the Marker.I feel disappointed.
But the Test Stimulation Booklet arrived in good condition and looks great. On the whole felt Amazon let me down.

In the 3rd week of May,2010 Amazon refunded $5 for the Marker. Now i am satisfied with Amazon's service.

2010-02-28 excellent product! (5 of 5)
For anyone who is comfortable with paper and pencil and have anxiety about using a dry erase pad which is really used in the GMAT by the way, this will get rid of that anxiety and make you realize that it isn't that bad after all!!! One less test anxiety feeling for you!

Source: Product Description
This essential preparation tool takes the surprise out of the scratch paper and marker that you will be given when you take the GMAT at a real testing center. Use it to hone your time management and notation to help you achieve the highest possible score.

The Test Simulation Booklet consists of 5 laminated double-sided pages, and is virtually identical to the booklet used for the real GMAT. A non-permanent marker of the same type used for the GMAT is included with your purchase. You may erase and re-use the booklet by using a moist paper towel or napkin.
